Barack Obama in Video

Marshall Ganz: 40 years in the desert is long enough

... if only more people understood what this campaign is about as Ganz does.

Michelle Obama: I am so tired of being afraid

from earlier this summer, but what a great portrayal of what this campaign is about: hope and possibility, not fear. Michelle has her own style, and it's getting stronger as she campaigns more, and i look forward to hearing more of her speak not just for Barack but for herself, and for women, mothers and families. i hope she gets a full hour sometime on Oprah. it could swing the women's vote.

"Oregon Wants Obama!" fundraiser, June 28th

The "Oregon Wants Obama!" fundraising party on June 28th was an unqualified success! We raised $3,645 dollars, thanks to all of your generous support! I Fed-X'd the money overnight to Obama Headquarters, that money was tallied towards Obama's Q2 fundraising numbers.

The realization of this event represented much more than a dollar total, however. It was grass roots organizing at its best. Ordinary citizens coming together and making our voices heard — we said we believe in Obama's vision for America and understand we play a vital role in making it happen. And we had FUN! You should each feel wonderful that you participated and helped move Barack Obama one step closer to the White House.

I am extremely proud to have been involved with this event and met so many dedicated, creative and fun people! Once again, Thank You!
